In this first video interviewof the GPA Armenians Speak series, Geopolitics Alert Editor James Carey and Julia Kassem speak with Raffi Ourlian, Chair of the Armenian National Committee of Michigan. In their discussion, James and Julia speak with Raffi on a range of issues from the significance of Nargorno-Karabakh and the current situation betweem Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Raffi graciously volunteered his time to to discuss the historical signifigance of Nagorno-Karabakh and to tell Julia and James how he feels about the current situation as a member of the Armenian diaspora. Mr. Ourlian leads a group committed to preserving Armenian heritage in the US and providing solidarity with the Armenian community in Armenia proper and Artsakh.
